1 NEW YORK TURF NOTES The Quincy Stables Repaid worked a mila in preparation for the Junior Champion, to be run Saturday. He was eased up at tho finish of the route in 1:42. The fractions were :23, :47, 1:14, 1:42. The Wheatley Stables Blenheim, which has several stake engagements here and in Maryland, moved along a mile in 1:42 in handy fashion. The Wheatley Stables Dark Secret will be started at Havre de Grace Saturday. Jockey H. Mills will go to that point to ride him. Due to the absence of J. Notter, L. Feu-stel saddled Slewfoot for the Western Stable in the first race. Senador Vasquez Bello, who was assassl nated in Havana, wa3 well known to American racegoers at that point. Charlie Cafar-elli raced a horse named for him over tha New York tracks with considerable success. Roy Waldron is expected at Empire City; from Canada with the horses of Mrs. C. Oliver Iselin. Lloyd Gentry Is bringing ten horses to Empire City owned by H. C. Hatch of Toronto. Jockey F. Horn was suspended for the remainder of the meeting for rough riding in the fourth race Wednesday. : -
