1 LONG BRANCH TURF NOTES I Never has there been such a galaxy of riding stars ready to swing into action as there is for the forthcoming meeting. Such boys as G. Riley, R. Mozer, G. Seabo, N. Foden, F. ,Mann, R. Townrow, T. Aimers, F. Dougherty, J. Longo, E. Legere, W. Curran, H. Gibson, A. Scott, J. Cochlin, H. Osborne, W. Obert, E. Smith, T. Burns, W. Parker, H. Thomas, T. Vercher, A. Yerrat, A. Abel and many others. It is expected that jockey C. Ralls, one of the outstanding riders at previous Long Branch meetings, will be sufficiently recovered and able to swing back into action. There is one change in the official family from the spring term, that is the appointment of David A. Boyle to take the place made vacant by Sam Rothert. Mr. Rothert was forced to leave for Tanforan to take up his duties as racing secretary at the San Bruno, Calif., course.
