PIMLICO STAKES CLOSE FRIDAY PIMLICO, Md., Oct. 4. Entries for the stakes to be run at the coming: Pimlico autumn meeting close Friday, October 7, and should be sent to M. L. Daiger, secretary, 533 Equitable Bldg. Baltimore Md. These stakes, three in number, comprise the Higgs Handicap, 0,000 and Gold Cup added; the Walden Handicap, ,000 added for two-year-olds; the Bowie Handicap, ,000 added for three-year-olds, one mile and a half. The Masters of Foxhounds Steeplechase for Hunters, three miles over brush, amateur riders, is made an overnight event, entries for which will close at Pimlico track at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday, November 9, the day before the running.
