The latter showed early speed and held on well. LONE KNIGHT was knocked back after the start, but finished fast. TRIANGULAR, away in a tangle, came through on the inside, then tired. CABOCHOi.T responded to pressure in the stretch and finished gamely. DUNSPRITE went to the outside of the leaders, but bore out at the end. FLYING SAILOR moved into command after the start and, rated along under restraint, shook off the others and drew away in the closing seventy yards. MANYA was taken under restraint when outrun, moved up on the inside in the stretch and finished well. FLYING DRAGON went to the outside of the leaders in the stretch, but tired at the end. The latter moved into command with a rush, raced SWEET BUD into defeat and came again near the finish. BOOCAP, on the inside early, held on well. SWEET BUD quit in the last eighth.
