TWO MORE DERBY ENTRIES Fair Rochester and Justice B. Added to the Prospective Starters in Auroras Closing Feature. AURORA, 111., May 16.— Nominations for the ,000 Illinois Derby closed at midnight Monday. Racing secretary R. A. Leigh received two more candidates when L. Jones and Sons named Fair Rochester, and Frank Grand entered Justice B. The entry of Fair Rochester served to add color to the race and he may rule among the choices. The son of For Fair and Lady Rochester trained exceptionally well for the Kentucky Derby but was withdrawn from the Churchill Downs classic when he developed a slight indisposition prior to the running. That he would have given a good account of himself was much heralded by veteran trainers, who followed his training with a keen interest. Fair Rochester won six races in 1932 and his success in negotiating any kind of going gives him an edge over opponents only able to show at their best on a fast track. His first engagement this year was in the Clark Handicap, in which he finished fourth in a smashing effort to lead home such high-class performers as Brother Joe, Evergold, Big Beau, Big Brand, Playdale, Sazerac, Interpreter and Knockaway. The entry of Justice B. is less significant, the son of Master Charlie and Tea Room having failed to display the caliber of class which is required to meet the grade of performers which will be under colors in the Derby. However, owner Frank Grand thinks well enough of his charge to take a chance at the prize which will go to the winner.
