JOCKEYS SUIT DISMISSED NEW YORK, N. Y., May 16.— L. Hohen-stein, formerly employed by the Dorwood Stable, sued J. P. "Sammy" Smith for eighteen months salary due on an alleged contract as a jockey. The case was heard in a Jamaica court and dismissed. Hohenstein was unable to produce the alleged contract and The Jockey Club officials stated that none had been filed with them. Hohenstein was dismissed when the Dorwood Stable retired from racing last spring and later claimed he had a five-year contract with the stable.
