Totton; bred by Hamilton Farms. Winner entered to be claimed for ,000. WENT TO POST— 5:09. AT POST— 1 minute. Start good out of machine. Won driving; second and third the same. SCARLET BRIGADE, lucky to come through on the inside, took command as CHIPOLA bore out on the lower turn and, holding on gamely, outlasted ELCIDIO. The latter, far back for five-eighths, raced wide, but closed gamely and was wearing down the winner. LOCUST MOSS improved her position with a rush. PEACE LADY swerved out entering the stretch. CHIPOLA bore out badly on the second turn and tired in the stretch. LADY GIBSON began slowly and raced wide throughout. PANGLOSS tired under punishment. BUNTING LAD quit.
