i] MARYLAND TURF NOTES J , «£ $ G. Mitchell has taken over the engagement book of jockey H. Tipton, who is affiliated with the stable owned by G. W. Ogle. Frank J. Bryan, Henry W. Bull nad F. S. Von Stade are to serve as stewards for the United Hunts Racing Association, which will be held on the estate of T. W. Durant at Roslyn, L. I., Saturday, May 20. Announcement was made that the second annual Southern Maryland Horse Show would be conducted at S. W. Labrots Holly Beach Farm near Annapolis, Md., Saturday. Fifteen ring classes and five races, including a steeplechase, will be offered. The proceeds are to be given to the Childrens Aid Society of Anne Arundel County. *
