LOWER PRICES POPULAR HOMEWOOD, 111., May 24. Reduced admission charges and transportation fares, which went into effect this season, are proving very popular with Washington Park patrons and should go a long way towards keeping the patronage during the current meeting up to previously established figures. With the rail fare at seventy-five cents per round trip and the general admission charge at one dollar, plus federal and state tax, patrons living in Chicago can meet the admittance and transportation costs with what they formerly paid to enter the grounds. The clubhouse admission charge also is down to only double the general admission fee, plus tax.
