1 WOODBINE TURF NOTES . Judge W. G. Kelly distributed Thorncliffe Park badges among horsemen. Steeplechase jockey J. Swan suffered a dislocated shoulder in his fall from Judge Fardy in the Hopeful Steeplechase Tuesday. Fritz Weiner made a hurried-trip from Mount Royal to Woodbine. He left for Montreal at the conclusion of the days sport. The Hasting Stable was fortunate enough to have Blue Arab, which was killed in the steeplechase Monday afternoon, insured. The policy was taken out Monday morning. Hell Diver and Moneyman, members of the W. G. Campbell string are the latest to be taken down with the coughing epidemic. J. Burrill, one of the cleverest apprentices at Woodbine, has had his contract transferred from T. M. Glassco to W. C. Irvine. H. Murray, an apprentice under contract to J. G. Fair, is scheduled to accept the first mount of his career Thursday on Tab-son in the sixth race. At the present time there are 521 horses registered and of these more than 200 are Canadian-breds. There r re 100 juveniles of which seventy are home-breds.
