THREE DS BIG STRING HOMEWOOD, 111., May 24. Headed by Strideaway, an eligible for the American Derby, and including Quatre Bras II., a full brother of Sir Gallahad. III., the fashionable Three Ds Stock Farm Stable of W. T. Wag- goner and Sons, which trainer R. N. Vestal has quartered at Lincoln Fields, contains fourteen horses. In addition to the Derby eligible and Quatre Bras II., other older horses are Trinchera, Texas Knight, Good Scout and Mosquero. The eight-two-year-olds, all of which were bred at the palatial Three Ds ranch at Arlington Downs, are extensively engaged in the Thomas Curran Memorial and other two-year-old stakes to be decided during the Chicago season. The juveniles are sons and daughters of Porte Drapeau and Phalaros, which stand at Arlington Downs and are from such fine matrons as Madame Sans Gene, Mazetta, Americaine, Tetiance and Sandrine. Staked Plains, a son of Phalaros and Sandrine, is a full brother to Strideaway.
