, i j e a j j , j j , . . ; T WASHINGTON PARK NOTES 1 $ O. L. Foster decided against sending six horses to Riverside Park and is considering sending them to Winnipeg for the western Canadian season. He was unable to secure sufficient number of stalls at Riverside. Johnny Daniels unloaded eleven Southland Stable horses at Lincoln Fields Wednesday morning. The shipment, which came from Churchill Downs, was headed by Playtime and included the older My Hobby and nine two-year-olds. The juveniles, all homebred, are Takeadip, Our Hobby, Creole Bird, Cold Steel, Prince Charlo, Aeton, Petite Julie, Play Hooky and Decible. F. A. Wehle brought Journeys End, La Feria, Crosskin and Sewanee from Churchill Downs. Five horses, the property of J. O. Keenes Keeneland Stud, arrived from Lexington this morning and were quartered at Lincoln Fields. Owner Keene has Don Romiro and seven others at Washington Park, and they were among the first to arrive at the Homewood course. In the shipment from Lexington were six, the property of R. B. Stelle, and three which race for W. E. Coovcr. They also found accommodations at Lincoln Fields. One carload of C. V. Whitney-Mose Gold-blatt horses arrived from Louisville Wednesday morning and were unloaded at Lincoln Fields. Others in this large stable are due to arrive Thursday morning. Dr. J. Fred Adams wired from Bowie, re questing stalls for six horses. The Adams horses will arrive next week and also will be quartered at Lincoln Fields. L. V. Bellew, Jr., transferred Dr. Parrish, Bettina H. and two others from Sportsmans Park to Lincoln Fields Thursday morning. The contract on R. Obert Reilly, was transferred to Mrs. Grace Miller by J. B. Theall Wednesday morning and Reilly had his first mount on Mrs. Millers Jean G. in the second race. Reilly was with Theall for two years, and resides at River Grove, 111. Trainer Joe Patterson breezed Trace Call, the Audley Farms American Derby nominee, five-eighths at Washington Park in 1:05 Wednesday morning and L. Jones and Sons Fair Rochester, also eligible for the American Derby, breezed a like distance at Lincoln Fields in 1:05 as final preparation for the Mount Greenwood Purse Thursday. Preparations for the arrival and care of the Willis Sharpe Kilmer stable were completed today. George Land, who will handle the western division of the stable, is due here in a few days and his string will include several stakes candidates. J i , . I
