I BOWIE TURF NOTES Jack Price is shipping Swivel and others of Adolph Pons string from Pimlico to Chicago. The E. R. Bradley and Everglade Stable horses leave for the Windy City Sunday. Frank Garrett sent J. E. Hughes Silent Shot to Chicago with the expectation of catching a muddy track for the American Derby. William Irvine, of Baltimore, returned from New York, where he worked S. W. La-brots Tred Avon a mile in 1:40 in preparation for her match race with C. V. Whitneys Top Flight on Decoration Day at Belmont Park. . Charlie Raynor, of Baltimore, is sending Vander Pool, Gold Prize and Cantersine to Jamaica at the conclusion of this meeting. Tut Tut, Kanal and Canteret have joined the schooling list, which now numbers twenty-eight bad actors. Nick Huff, of Washington, plans to send Bally Bay, Employment and Lough Port to Belmont Park on Wednesday. "Slim" Winfrey has been restored to good standing and raced Royal Seer, one that he recently purchased from P. M. Walker, Saturday. Jockeys "Sonny" Workman, Henry Erick-son and H. Cruz, who were grounded-early t in the week for rough riding, were restored to good standing Saturday. The sum of 3,000 has changed hands as a result of eight claims made during the present meeting. The management of the Southern Maryland Jockey Club has received many requests for another ladies day and they have decided to permit the fair sex to enter the gates free Monday. A fifteen cent tax is . imposed by the government.
