1 BAINBRIDGE TURF NOTES 4 : . George Munn held a public sale of three thoroughbreds Sunday morning. The horses, formerly the property of Vic Gallo, were White Toes, Nervator and Mary Phyllis. The first of the Bainbridge pony races will be run on Wednesday. There will. be an entry list of twelve starters for ponies forty-eight inches or under, ridden by boys fourteen years old or younger. Cash prizes of 5 will be given, of which 5 will go to the winner. C. Lemons was a recent arrival with five head, of which Shift and Publication are the best known. The Bainbridge meeting this year has been unusually free of rough riding. Only one rider has been set down and very few called in for official censure. This grade of riding, coupled with close finishes and well-matched fields, have all added enjoyment to the racing programs. Tom Bourke, of Chicago, was a visitor Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the racing at Bainbridge. He tells of his plans for his new race track at Glen View, 111. He says he hopes to have definite word regarding tliis project shortly.
