1 BAINBRIDGE TURF NOTES t and Thomas Doyle arrived from Chicago with two horses, including Howtiz. Robert S. Eddy, Jr., returned from Chicago and will serve as one of the stewards for the remainder of the meeting. Joseph Cattarinich, managing director of Bainbridge Park, also returned from Chicago and will remain for the meeting. Leo Dandurand, who has been in charge of the contribution department here during the earlier days of the meeting, has departed for Montreal. E. L. Snyder has taken over the horses of Dr. E. E. Watson and will train them for the balance of the meeting. Ladies day was celebrated with a large outpouring of the fair sex. Next Wednesday will again be ladies day and an added feature will be a pony race over a distance of a quarter mile for riders fourteen years old or younger. These races will be a regular feature of the ladies day program. Plans are now afoot by the Bainbridge officials to stage hurdle races over a mile run, with four two-foot brush hurdles. Many of the prominent Cleveland riding stables have evinced an interest in this type of race. L. Ruzicka arrived with Cryout and Sally Irene, which he is training for Mrs. W. Wynn. The road repairs in front of the Geauga County course are being hurried to completion by the state and will be completed in time for the Decoration Day program. The June Day Handicap will be run on June 1 and all newlyweds and engaged couples are invited to Bainbridge. The races will be named the Turtle Doves, the Niagara Falls, the Honeymoon Express and other titles befitting the occasion. The suspension of jockey W. Day was terminated by the stewards of Bainbridge Park Saturday afternoon. This official announcement was made by judge John T. Ireland,
