FLORIDA AMENDMENT DEAD? TALLAHASSEE, Fla., May 29. Burial in a senate committee until legislative adjournment appears to be the fate of the house bill requiring equal division of racing dates between horse tracks operating in the same county. Passed by the house under waiver of the rules Friday, the bill came into the senate Saturday, and in spite of a senate rule allowing it to be placed on the calendar without reference, the senate voted to place it in the committee on miscellaneous legislation, and it is the belief it may not come out of that committee in time to be considered during this session. :
