Watts, trainer of the extensive stable of Mrs. E. Denemark. H. Stuart purchased the four-year-old Canadian-bred King Emperor from A. J. Halli-well. It has been reported that the Seagram Stable will purchase some mares and go into the breeding end of the game again on an extensive scale. Young Kitty is the only brood mare on the farm at the present time. This news is gratifying, as it appeared for a time as if the popular black and yellow silks of this establishment would be lost to Canadian racing. Ralph Lentini arrived from Sportsmans Park with Donate, Fly On and Blighter. Chick Lang is expected to return to the saddle In a few days. He is at Thorncliffe with the stable of T. L. Evans.
