JUSTA SUNBEAM DOMINATES Easily Outruns Opponents at Charles Town Jockey Weir on Twenty Fifth Winner of Meeting CHARLES TOWN W Va June 19 The Gilmore Purse a dash of five furlongs for threeyearolds and over brought together the best field at Charles Town Tuesday and the sixhorse field was dominated by Justa Sunbeam from start to finish One length in the wake of the winner Dutiful took second three lengths before Happy Lope Aella In ¬ finitude and First Act completed the field while the winner was ridden by jockey Fran ¬ cis Weir leading rider at the meeting and it was his twentyfifth victory victoryFrom From a good start Justa Sunbeam had sufficient speed to go to the front at once When clear Weir took her to the middle of the track in search of better footing Safe in front Justa Sunbeam was rated along steadily Dutiful and Happy Lope alternated in second place on the back stretch but when entering the front stretch Dutiful shook off Happy Lope and challenged Justa Sunbeam Still in the center of the track Justa Sunbeam shook off the challenger and had speed in reserve at the finish finishHeavy Heavy rains left the track heavy but ideal weather conditions attracted a good weekday crowd
