GRANT CANADIAN LICENSES FORT ERIE, Ont., July 10.— At a regular scheduled meeting- of the Independent Canadian Racing Associations that was held in the clubhouse at Fort Erie prior to the first race, the following trainers and jockeys were granted licenses, and two suspensions were lifted. Trainers— W. Clements, G. C. Gardner, Elmer James, J. A. Murphy, R. Ripley, H. J. Snyder, W. E. Brierley, R. Lentini. Jockey— G. C. Rose. Apprentice— L. Hunton. The suspension of J. E. Mason was lifted followed a satisfactory explanation given by him, but the suspension of F. Fellows, Sr., was continued indefinitely. The suspension of jockey Joe Thomas has been lifted fol-j lowing his explanation to the committee.
