1 SYRACUSE TURF NOTES | Jockey E. De Camillas, leading rider at the meeting, departed Tuesday night for Empire City. The division of the Mrs. Ambrose Clark stable, racing here, left Tuesday night for Saratoga Springs to be freshened up. Trainer James Healy accompanies the shipment. Thursday will be called Chamber of Com* merce Day and the local chamber will present a trophy to the winner of a race to be called the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce Handicap. Fifteen thousand invitations have been mailed out by Hiram Weis-berg, president of the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. The apprentice allowance on Consummation in the second race Tuesday was waived and C. Quattlebaum rode the Sweep gelding. Cabaina has been placed on the schooling list. The following ruling was handed to the press box correspondents after the running of the sixth race Monday: "The entry of the horse Hereward has been ordered refused by the stewards." The explanation was that his unruly post manners brought about the edict.
