1 MOUNT ROYAL PARK NOTES 1 4 ■ and J. J. Heffering, owner of the Riverdale Stable of Toronto, is spending a few days at Mount Royal. Jockey E. Jelley, who was injured in a spill last week, has been forced to return to the Western Hospital for two weeks, as the head injury he suffered has not responded to treatment. Word was received from secretary Thomas P. Gorman of the Connaught Park Jockey Club that arrangements are being made to set the Ottawa meeting date from August 11 to 18, inclusive. Jockey M. Mitchell was suspended for two days by the stewards for failure to fill his engagements. Jockey J. Sylvester left for Cleveland this morning to be on hand for the opening of Bainbridge Park. • _
