1 ARLINGTON PARK NOTES o — . $ The promising apprentice Daniel Bram-mer, who is under contract to H. C. McCon-nell, had the fourth mount of hi? career and the first at this meeting when he drew the assignment on Theorem in the eighth race Thursday. Brammer is a product of Grand River, Iowa,-weighs ninety-five pounds and is sixteen years old. Former jockey Charlie Yates departed for Houston, Texas. Before leaving, Yates loaded three horses, consisting of Whoami, Dorsel-lita and Splendor Girl, which he obtained from B. J. Durnell for Houston, where they will be rested and f eshened for a campaign this fall on the Texas tracks. Trainer D. E. Stewart is expected from New York and will take over the western division of the J. E. Widener stable, while Pete Coyne will take the others to Saratoga the latter part of the week. Jockey Wayne Wright will stay here for the remainder of the meeting. Wright will leave for Saratoga immediately after this meeting terminates. After allowing Bien Fait to withdraw from the sixth race because of lameness, it was found necessary to excuse Sun Captor, which developed lameness after being shod, when the blacksmith pared his feet too close. Barney Sexton was another allowed .to decline the issue, when it was found that he had bowed a tendon.
