WOULD DARE drew up on even terms with the leaders at the half-mile post, but seemed to strike a bad spot in the track and dropped back, then came again in the stretch and was the stronger of the two at the finish. GRAYBACK saved ground on the stretch turn to reach a contending position, but was in close quarters at midstretch and forced to take up and come to the outside of WOULD DARE, then tired. ALOCHING closed some ground, but was never dangerous. REGO was badly outrun. SWEET MAN quit badly. Corrected weight Would Dare, 110. SEVENTH RACE 1 MILE. Sweet Man, Dec. 12, 19341:383112.
