BRIGHT LIGHT began quickly, moved up fast after being outpaced for the opening eighth, was carried very wide by LOOKABOUT when reaching the home stretch, but closed resolutely and was up in the last sixteenth. LOOKABOUT, a keen factor in the early racing, swerved out entering the home stretch, carrying BRIGHT LIGHT with her, was straightened quickly and held on gamely after displacing DELIBERATE. SOMEONE ELSE, forced to race wide to enter a forward position early, saved ground after reaching the homa stretch and finished willingly. PLAYFUL TOUR was shuffled back leaving the back stretch and closed fast when clear. BRISTLE was never a factor. DELIBERATE displayed high speed and saved ground, but quit badly in the last eighth.
