BLUE CAT began well but, in a tangle shortly afterward, worked her way forwardly when clear and closed with a rush. BONNIE PAN, used up in forcing the pace, tired fast in the last eighth. JUST IMPERIAL, badly ridden and taken back repeatedly in the opening three-eighths, closed fast under his own courage. SHERATAN raced wide. THISTLE JOCK made up ground. ERIC T. was outrun.
