AXTON FUNERAL RITES LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 6 Funeral services for Woodford Fitch Axton, president of Axton-Fisher Tobacco Company, racing patron and breeder and prominent in Louisville civic life for many years, were held this morning in the Crescent Hill Methodist Church. Interment was in Elmwood ceme tery, Owensboro, Ky. Mr. Axton died Thursday at the age of 63 in his home at Wildwood Farm, near here after a months illness. Active pallbearers were Ray C. Ellis, R. M. Barker, Hyman Friedberg, G. O. Tuck, F. H. Callahan and N. B. Wigginton.
