WATCHMAN SLAIN John "Breen, 65, a private watchman, was found slain when police broke into a florist shop early Monday morning to investigate a shot which was heard coming from the building. Desk drawers had been emptied and the cash register searched. Police believe that Breen had surprised burglars in the shop and put up a struggle with them.
