GREAT METROPOLITAN STAKES Special Cablegram. EPSOM DOWNS, England, April 23. Crawley Wood, carrying the colors of J. E. Cottrell, won the great Metropolitan Stakes, two and one-quarter mile handicap, here today. J. W. Lloyds Flam was second, and A. F. Davis Corona-Corona finished third. There were twenty-one starters; The winners price was 100 to 8.
