I C. W. HAY MANAGER AT HAWTHORNE I...... ......... ......... C. W. Hay, former general manager of Washington Park, may be named to serve in a like capacity at Hawthorne at the next meeting of the executive committee of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association, according to information reaching Daily Racing Form through an authoritative source Tuesday. A tentative arrangement, under which Hay would be placed in charge of the west side course, is said to have been worked out at Mondays meeting of the executive committee, composed of Albert Sabath, Thomas McHale and Charles W. Bidwill. His appointment hinges on the outcome of a conference between himself and Sabath, who is president of the Chicago Business Mens Racing "Association, scheduled for Saturday, it was said.
