1 AURORA TURF NOTES 4 s- Jockey Jimmy King, who had a successful season in California and Texas since leaving Chicago last -fall, arrived from Dallas . and t reported that Ray Pollards horses will leave, the Lone Star State in a few days. . Phil R,euter came over .from Washington Park to make arrangements for the. reception of Roman Soldier, which is due to arrive, Wednesday morning. The astute trainer put in a busy afternoon renewing acquaintances. F. J. "Belz has taken out a trainers license and will direct" the conditioning, of his mare Our Sis, which formerly was trained by E. H. McMahon. George H. Foster, secretary of the Illinois Racing Commission, will be at the racing secretarys office at Washington Park Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings to accept licenses and other applications which have to be approved by the racing commission. Apprentice Charlie "Chuck" Parvin, who is under contract to Mrs. A. M. Creech checked in from Dallas and will don the colors Wednesday to ride Hasty Glance in the Carnation Handicap. Parvin is eighth on the list of leading American riders. Trainer Otis Clelland will send six of Mrs. R. J. Murphys stable to Latonia Wednesday night in charge of jockey Jack Mayer. The shipment will consist of Iceberg, Leeoran, Lady Confucius, Stepinanna, Lawyer Brigade and Spanish Red. Clelland "will remain here until the end of the meeting with the others which will be sent on to Latonia Saturday morning. Jockey R. Tilden left Tuesday night for Toronto where he will ride Joseph -Cattar-inichs Pestle, in a stake engagement Wednesday. Tilden will return here for . Thursdays racing. P. M. and E. J. Chappel, who have ; an extensive stable here in charge of Dr. T. A. Donald, returned to Rqckford, 111., after witnessing Polas Flag in her victorious performance inthe fifth race Monday. Jockey; Jack Wesfrppe wired racing secretary R. A.Leigh that he will arrive here and will be ready to accept mounts for Wednesdays racing. Westrope is affiliated with the stable of T. G. Worden. Jockey Willie Boganowski packed his tack and departed for Detroit where he will ride free lance.
