VETERAN WALTER HOUSE DIES BOWIE, Md., April 3. Walter S. House, veteran trainer, was buried in Druid Hill Cemetery recently. He died in his apartment in New York following a brief illness. He was 77 years old and owned and trained horses for many years. He was identified with trotters before branching out as a thoroughbred trainer. His last important post was training a division of the Audley Farm Stable over the New York tracks. He I brought out Jimmy Butwell, who developed into a saddle star of a generation ago.
