ROYAL FLIGHT, away slowly and forced to lose ground when improving his position, responded to strong urging after reaching the stretch and won easily. MIRELLA sprinted into a good lead early, was put to strong pressure when challenged and tired rapidly in the last eighth. VALTED, never far back and in close quarters, moved up fast when clear and closed with a rush. ANCESTRAL, slow to begin from his outside position, was hampered slightlv when GUADALUPE propped at the start, made up ground steadily and finished strongly. ROLLED NOTES raced evenly. ALBERT BECK quit badly after offering a bold bid approaching the final eighth. CAMP quit. GUADALUPE propped "at the start. Overweight Rolled Notes, 3 pounds. L., away fastest and under a drive throughout, gave way in the stretch, came again near the end and probably would have been best under stronger handling. MISS WEBB, slow to begin, moved up fast after five-sixteenths, was forced to lose ground in the drive and tired near the end. PLAYSICKLE, well up from the start, was shuffled back entering the stretch, but held on well. OTRA VEZ had no mishaps. POLYPHOTE quit and pulled up sore.
