WENT TO POST 2:24. AT POST minute. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. VIRNOCK, a strong factor throughout, responded gamely to pressure and lasted to outfinish COL. JULIAN. The latter rushed to contention early, continued with good -speed and held on with good courage in the drive. JUST AHEAD was forced back sharply at the start, which virtually eliminated him as a strong factor. FAIR GEM suffered interference at the start and was outrun thereafter. EQUALITY, away in stride, caused a jam at the start and failed to keep up after an eighth. The others were outrun. Overweight Equality, 1 pound. HONEY ALL, well ridden and on the inside for three-eighths, was taken out approaching the stretch, wore down POLLY PLUM and held on gamely to withstand the rush of BLIND STAR. The latter, never far back, closed resolutely and was wearing down the winner. HAPPY FIND, on the inside to the final eighth, Conlinur-d on fourteenth vaae. . OAKLAWN PARK Continued from third page. was taken- out thereafter and finished strongly. DRINKWATER closed with a rush from a slow beginning. POLLY PLUM attained a commanding lead early, set a good pace to the final eighth, then bore in badly and had to be eased in the final stages. SEMESTER, away well, lacked speed. KEYED UP, away in stride, raced to a commanding lead early, stood a long drive gamely, gave way briefly inside the final eighth, but rallied to strong riding and won in the final strides. GRANDMAS BOY, suddenly improved and well up throughout, responded gamely to pressure, offered good contention, but could not resist the winner. ROYAL BALLAD, away slowly and forced wide while gaining, came around the field entering the stretch, gained gradually and finished lastest. RAPPAREE, rank at the post, was well up throughout, but tired after reaching contention. DUCK1E ROSE, also fractious, was done early. GENERAL BOY showed nothing. MINTHERA was outrun. MAE quit. CANANA, on the inside most of the way, moved up in the drive, but could not menace the winner. SAYLOMA, placed in the lead early, continued well to the stretch, then tired. The latter moved up fast after an eighth, forced the pace most of the way and held on with good courage in the final stages. OPERA BOUFFE, hustled into contention early, responded gamely to punishment, made a slight gain, but was no threat. JUST FRANK, away slowly, rushed to contention, was sharply impeded leaving the back stretch and failed to be a factor thereafter. GOLD TI and SKY WARRIOR were never dangerous. ESCOPETTE, outrun for a half mile, moved up fast thereafter, offered good contention, but was not good enough. PETER PEPPER, away fast, came to the inside quickly causing a jam, forced the pace for three-quarters and held on evenly in the drive. LADY GRANDACE, slow to get going, closed fast in the stretch. NORTHERN WATER raced ROYAL TREASURE into defeat, then held on gamely in the drive. HOME SHORE gave a good performance under a hustling ride. MONEDY had no excuse. ROYAL TREASURE quit.
