Logan; bred by Mr. J. W. Johnston. Winner entered to be claimed for ,250. WENT TO POST 5:53. AT POST 1 minute. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. NANKIN, hustled into the lead soon after the start, set a good pace under clever handling, responded well when put to hard pressure in the stretch and withstood MAEBEE. The latter, away well but shuffled back at the lower turn, worked her way forward on the inside, was forced to the outside for room and wai wearing down the winner at the end. DORIS B., outrun for five-eighths, closed with a rush. MYNAH, in close quarters early, came around the field entering the stretch and finished strongly. OGYGIA made up ground. LET HER PLAY tired. PARQUA PASS and LONMEG quit.
