TEXAS DERBY WORKOUTS ARLINGTON, Texas, April 4. Sangreal and Doran, two of the Milky Way Farms eligibles for the Texas Derby, had useful preparations for that important engagement this morning, when they stepped a mile in 1:42. The pair commenced their task at the stand and stepped the half mile in :49, the three-quarters in 1:15 and the seven-eighths in 1:29. Doran was breezing throughout and Sangreal went in handy fashion. Harry C. Hatchs Ariel Cross, one of the leading eligibles for next Saturdays Frontier Exposition Handicap, breezed a mile in 1:49. He was timed the quarter in :25, the half mile in :51 and the three-quarters in 1:19.
