PETERS LOSES JOSEPH J. G. Louie Peters, Chicago owner, reported Saturday that Joseph J. G., a three-year-old gelded son of Altawood Blended, which won two races last year and finished second and third on numerous occasions, was destroyed by Dr. Karstindiek. Joseph J. G. fractured some small bones in his left front leg in his last race last year and every effort . was made to save him, but the bones failed to knit properly and Peters finally gave : orders for his -destruction,-
