1 HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES "William Mulholland has nine of the Bran-dywine Stable racers under shelter here, four of which are two-year-olds and the remainder three-year-olds. They will be available for racing during the Maryland Jockey Club meeting at Pimlico. Elwood Sachsenmaier, owner of the good handicapper Roman Soldier, which is in training for an early debut under the care of Phil Reuter, was an arrival from Greensboro, S. C, to inspect the colt. Miss Eleanor Powers forwarded word that , she lost the services of the good plater Flying Don, which was turned out near Boston. She also advised that the three-year-old Johns Son has been unsexed. R. E. Potts and J. E. Kermath, who have divisions of the Bomar racers in their charge, have made application for twenty-five stalls for the accommodation of that establishment at Pimlico. In the string of twenty-one there is not one performer above three years old. M. Shea, who served in an official capacity during the hunt meeting staged at Middle-burg, Va., was an interested spectator. Trainer M. Simon will ship five horses in his care to Jamaica on Sunday. The string which race for Mrs. Simon and C. McCarthy include Play Book, Rough Player, Ina Dear, Lets Play and Benedict T. Condition books embracing the final seven days of the meeting were distributed among horsemen Friday by racing secretary Charles J. McLennan. The Maryland racing commission has ruled that camera eye finish pictures may be ordered either by the stewards or the judges. The apprentice allowance was waived on Mrs. R. B. Watts Sylvia G. and the filly carried 111 pounds in the third race. R. H. "Spec" Crawford has the Brook-meade Stables jumpers quartered at Pimlico training for the meeting of the Maryland Jockey Club. It was learned that superintendent John Ryan of the Maryland Jockey Club, will open the jumping course early next week to permit jumpers to be schooled prior to the inauguration of the meeting. Frisco Kid, Terry On and Sun Crax are : the latest additions to the schooling list of starter James F. Milton at Havre de Grace. P. S. Baird checked in with the useful performer Mount Auburn, which races for his i wife. The shipment arrived from Florida. R. Robertson plans to have the firing irons ; applied to his good handicap performer Lynx : Eye, and to have Bright and Early and Mr. . Quick unsexed. Robertson will ship his stable of ten from Havre de Grace to Nar-ragansett Park. Jockeys R. Merritt, R. Jones and S. Renick : returned from Jamaica, where they had gone ; to ride in the Paumonok Handicap on i Wednesday. Merritt rode Howe Stables i Cycle, the victor in the race.
