TALL OAK followed closest to the winner from the start, rallied gamely in the final drive and finished with good courage. YELLOW TULIP, racing greenly, circled his company and closed with a high jflight of speed and appears to be a good colt and should improve over this race. The latter, a keen factor from ;the beginning, responded gamely to punishment and fought it out determinedly under a vigorous drive. PORTDEN, stoutly ridden all the way, hold on gamely, but was unable to menace the first two. CHARACTER jraced strongly, but was not good enough when the final issue came.
