TAP ON rushed up fast after the start, came around the leaders at the far turn, bore over on JINX rounding the stretch turn and drew away. JINX, a forward factor thoughout, came to the outside in the final eighth and finished well. ST. IVES slipped through on the inside entering the stretch run and closed resolutely. ETHELS CHOICE, on the inside in the early running, faltered in the stretch run. LOVELY DAY closed fast through the stretch. POLYCHROME raced evenly! WHO was bothered at the break.
