LITTLE UPSET, going in his best form and away fast, came over sharply at the far turn, drew away rapidly, increased his advantage in the stretch, then tired in the last stages, but held PATTI safe. The latter, outrun early, worked her way through the field when improving her position, came to the inside for the drive and closed with a rush. ROUGH CREEK forced the pace under good handling and held on well. HOWARD G. made up ground. PRINCE SADOR improved his position during the opening quarter and was blocked near the end. CHIEFS PRIDE, going in his best form and improved under stronger handling,- was in close quarters early, responded fast after reaching the stretch and outfinished MARCH STEP. The latter, under good urging from the start, wore BRONC RIDER down in the last eighth, but failed to withstand the winner. COIN, shuffled back at the far turn, came fast when clear and was wearing the leaders down at the end. FLIGHT OF GOLD was pinched back entering the stretch and made up ground when clear. RED GARTER showed a good effort. BACK FENCE made up ground. BRONC RIDER, used up in the pace, quit after relinquishing the lead. THISTLE JOCK was outrun. NO SAINT was outrun. MERRY CAROLINE, away well but outrun early, responded fast after reaching the stretch, wore ALBUQUERQUE down in the last sixteenth and withstood COUNT RAE. The latter, outrun for a half mile, moved up fast thereafter and was wearing the winner down at the end. MISS- WEBB moved up fast after three-sixteenths, was sent to the inside for the drive and held on well. ALBUQUERQUE sprinted into a clear lead during the opening three-sixteenths, set a good pace under strong handling, but tired after relinquishing the lead. DARK SEEKER showed little. The latter, unable to keep up early, improved his position after reaching the stretch and finished strongly. WHISKING, outrun for three-eighths, was sent around, the field when improving his position and closed with a rush. PRINCE FOX worked his way forward steadily and finished well. INSCONA tired. FOREVER YOURS, away fastest but soon outrun, failed to respond to strong handling and appeared to sulk in the stretch. HEADLINER showed little. The latter, much used racing GRAND ROCK into defeat, held on with good courage while submitting. GRAND ROCK set a fast early pace, held on well to the final eighth, then tired. MARTIN BARTON raced well in an even performance. SARADA began fast, but lacked speed and was decisively outrun throughout. CROFTER and OUR COUNT failed to figure seriously. COUNTESS ANN, away well, was outrun for a half mile, gained steadily thereafter and closed with a rush. MOISSON, a strong factor for seven-eighths, failed to keep pace when subjected to strong riding. KIEVSON had no excuses. LEGAL GAMBLE, far back for seven-eighths, made up ground in the stretch. PULIS was done after three-eighths. DAMASCENE was outrun. FAIRSICKLE showed nothing. MALIMOU was far back throughout. Overweight Moisson, 22 pounds; Wise Will, 2; Fairsickle, 1.
