I LATONIA ASKS MORE DAYS LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 24. The application of the Latonia Jockey Club to increase the number of racing days of its spring meeting, opening on Saturday, May 23, to thirty-seven days, instead of twenty-five, as already granted, was expected to be considered at the regular annual pre-season meeting of the state racing commission here tonight. Application for the additional twelve days was said to have been received by the racing board. Other matters of importance coming up for consideration at tonights meeting, include action on the report of the commissions license committee, approval of racing officials and possibly additional business pertaining to the conduct I of the sport beginning with the opening of Churchill Downs tomorrow.
