I LEXINGTON TURF NOTES $ $ While foaling at Monietta Farm, Danville, Ky., A. E. Hundleys St. Theresa, in the stud at LeMar Stock Farm, Lexington, died. Four of her daughters are at Monietta. Jockey Don Meade is visiting in Lexington. He intends to go from here to California to remain until about July 1. For the third time late Friday at Frankfort, the lower house of the legislature killed the bill designed to legalize dog racing in Kentucky. The vote was 67 to 21. Its supporters say they will try again. Charles T. Fisher returned to Lexington Thursday night after attending the funeral of T. Ross Long, late manager of Dixiana, at Delaware, Ohio. Mr. Fisher spent the day going over matters at the farm. The probabilities are that no successor to Mr. Long will be appointed in the near future if at all. Allen Long will continue in charge of the farm, and Clyde Van Dusen will continue as trainer of the thoroughbreds.
