FLAMING LIGHT, taken back when outrun, moved into the lead when ready, drew away under good "urging, but tired rapidly in the drive. WESTKO showed a good effort. CARL B., outrun for three-quarters, was sent through the field for the drive and closed with a rush. ALLENFERN, forced wide when ROYAL JULIA bore out at the lower turn, made up ground.
