HANFORD FROM RIDING FAMILY LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 4.— Jockey Ira Hanford is the third and youngest member of his family to ride. His older brother, Carl Hanford, is a prominent eastern jockey, while the eldest of the family, "Buddy" Hanford, was killed in an accident at Pimlico several years ago. The youngster hails from Omaha, Neb., and is 18 years of age.
