REASON FOR SUSPENSIONS LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 4.— In elaborating on the ruling following the Kentucky Derby, the stewards of Churchill Downs today announced that the suspensions of jockeys N. Wall, I. Hanford and G. Burns for fifteen days each for rough riding in that race were for the following offenses: Jockey Wall for making no effort to prevent his mount, Coldstream, from interfering with horses on the inside in the first sixteenth, and jockeys Hanford and Burns for rough riding in the run through the back stretch.
