! i I NARRAGANSETT PARK NOTES | i $ Apprentice C. Kamar was suspended five days by the stewards for an unsatisfactory ride on Overstimulate in the third race Saturday. Horses continued to jam into Narragan-sett Park Saturday despite officials insisting for days that the stabling area will hold no more. The most of those arriving, however, within the past twenty-four hours, had made reservations early in the winter, saving them from being forced to rely on the nearby clubs and farms for housing facilities. The latest horsemen to ship to this point included C. V. Whitneys strong quintet led by the good handicapper Trumpery, P. A. Shaw with thirteen; Belmont Evans, six; J. A. Best, four; C. H. Bliss, threa, and M. Simons, one. All came in from New York. Jockey Johnny Longden, leading rider during the Hialeah season, rushed to his home in Calgary, Alberta, where his mother is ill. As soon as possible he will report here to his contract employer, A. G. Tarn, to ride through the spring meeting. Trainer E. W. Duffy has taken first call on the services of jockey Joe Rosen, who is under contract to the Liberty Lane Stable. Jockey C. Turk has arrived at Narragan-sett Park and will ride for Raymond Pollard. Jockey Harold Tinker reached here from Louisville and will ride free lance during the meeting. Tinker, a veteran of the saddle, can make 108 pounds. _ •
