Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. FLYING VICTORY was rushed into command shortly after the break, showed good speed, raced ROYAL BIRD into defeat and held CREOLE BIRD safe in the final drive. The latter was placed under pressure in the early running, lost ground rounding the stretch turn and finished well. WTZARDESS saved ground rounding the far turn, came through on the inside entering the stretch, but hung in the final drive. ROYAL BIRD, in nearest pursuit of the early pace, quit in the final eighth. BRAMBLE RUN closed with determination. AUREATE moved up when called upon, but then hung. KEYED UP was shuffled back after the break. SPICY BIT had no mishaps. FLOWERY LADY began slowly. SPICY, in nearest pursuit of the pace, was placed under pressure entering the stretch and finished with a rush throueh the final eighth. TWOSOME was in close quarters in the early running, worked her way free, but could not menace the leaders at the finish. DREAM HOUR raced greenly and was bearing out through the final seventy yards. NO DUST broke well, but was outrun, eased to the outside and lost ground at the turns. ALLONS, fractious at the barrier, showed a flash of early speed, but quit badly at the finish. DANISE M. forced the early pace from the start on the outside, made a determined bid under pressure in the stretch run, but hung after getting to the leader at the eighth post. FAIR STEIN was outrun in the first part, came to the outside in the stretch and finished well over tired horses. ANNE G. showed an even effort, but was not persevered with when she tired in the stretch. GOLD MESH was outrun from the Start and could not menace the leaders. UNDER THE GUNS was outrun all the way. BLACK BUDDY was placed under pressure nearing the stretch turn, saved ground, but came to the outside for the final drive. PLAYFOLE followed the early pace from the start, came to the outside of the leader entering the stretch, responded to pressure when called upon, but was bearing in slightly at the end and outlasted CLIENTELLE in the final drive. The latter was hustled into command after the break, was rated along steadily, saved ground at the turns and held on with good courage under pressure. SOPHISTICATED improved her position steadih , saved ground entering the stretch, made a determined bid when ailed upon, but hung at the finish. HAIL reared at the break, moved up on the inside entering the back stretch, but was blocked trying to get through, came to the outside, but tould not menace the winner. MATCH PLAY was shuffled back rounding the second turn, improved his position on the inside, made a determined bid in the stretch and then faltered. CHIEF YEOMAN was blocked in the stretch run, came to the outside and finished well. BONNIE BUZZ showed speed for half a mile and then faltered. BLIND TALK broke in a tangle, moved up fast, but then faltered from its early efforts. Overweight — Blind Talk, 3 pounds.
