INDIAN BROOM IN THE WEST SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 7.— Indian Broom, which finished third in the Kentucky Derby, arrived at Bay Meadows last night from Louisville in charge of trainer Cannon. Jockey George Burns, who had the mount, said the Taylor horse had no excuse, adding, "Bold Venture was too much horse for us." Burns said it seemed to him that the winner suffered as much interference as did Brevity.
