Max Hirsch, trainer of the Derby winner, yesterday mailed an entry to the Fox Valley Jockey Club for j Bold Venture in the Illinois Derby, which j is scheduled to be run Friday, May 22. Hirsch also entered Split Second in the same race, the latter being the property of the King Ranch. «
