f AURORA TURF NOTES I s «► R. Lerner was an arrival and registered Cloido, which he is training for Madden Sc Lerner, and Thoroughfare, which he handles for J. Shautin. The Versatillions, a local orchestra, will furnish the music for the clubhouse attendants Saturday afternoon, it was announced by the Fox Valley Jockey Club management. S. A. Furnival, who is training a public stable consisting of four horses, registered Prince Pest, Mr. Ricks, Stolen Color and Drombo with the racing secretary Wednesday morning. Jockey H. Dudley has recovered from a bad attack of boils on his legs and will resume riding at the Fox Valley Jockey Clubs track Friday afternoon. Mickey Fernandez was an arrival from Texas and will proceed to Detroit following the close of the current season at Aurora. He is negotiating for the purchase of a racer from B. Hernandez, which he will campaign at Detroit if the deal is consummated. C. E. Durnell, trainer for the stable owned by Mrs. A. Sabath, Chicago patron, registered Wayaloft, Illinois Derby candidate, Harry Richman, Diane S., Norman O., Evilo and Disarray. The latter trio are two-year-olds. Owners who contemplate shipping their runners to Detroit following the close of Aurora are B. Hernandez, B. Manziel, A. Gaal, H. O. Simmons, O. Viau, C. E. Davison and B. B. Johnson. All have requested stall reservations.
